Yom Kippur & Forgiveness

How appropriate that the parable for this month is a parable about forgiveness of debts. Monday was Yom Kippur and every year we are so grateful for the Lord's forgiveness. We didn't earn it, we didn't merit it but through Messiah, He granted us grace and forgave our debts just as the moneylender in our parable forgave his debtors.

So let us give thanks this week as we observe Sukkot (those of us who observe). Let us rejoice as we dwell in His presence and let us bring praises to Him who laid down his life for us that our debts may be forgiven! 🙌🏽

So which of them will love him more?”Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled.” “You have judged correctly,” Yeshua said. -Luke 7:43
