Every year we put away the leaven...

So that we can begin a new lump after Passover. So when Jesus teaches the parable of the leaven, He reminds us that the leaven of insincerity and wickedness will one day be completely removed from this Earth, making way for a new, pure loaf—symbolizing the resurrection and renewal in the coming Kingdom of God. Mind blowing! I bet you've never heard the parable of the leaven quite like this before👩🏻‍🍳

'Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven works through the whole batch of dough? Get rid of the old leaven, that you may be a new unleavened batch, as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with the old bread, leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and of truth. ' 1 Corinthians 5:6-8
