Introducing Bootcamp! 🧘🏽♀️🪖📖
Hi friends,
For the last year, I’ve been quietly creating and polishing one of the craziest idea behind the scenes — a New Age Discernment Bootcamp. I've poured countless hours into this project, and it's truly been a labor of love every step of the way.
Back in 2022, when I first launched the Ruach in the Wilderness newsletter, I shared the beginnings of my New Age Discernment Quiz along with a few blog posts on my personal testimony of coming out of New Age deception. Since then, I've devoured books, dug into scripture, and researched New Age healing practices — not to embrace them, but to expose them for what they truly are: counterfeit spirituality wrapped in health and wellness.
Now, I'm finally ready to share everything I've learned with you inside Bootcamp!
How did I come up with "Bootcamp"?
After much frustration and years of thinking about all the women who are being deceived into the false spirituality of New Age Medicine, I was suddenly inspired one day to write a book called "New Age Healing Bootcamp". The idea behind this was to help women get out of the new age health craze.
A sort of rehab program for women who had become victims of new age medicine or those who wanted to avoid becoming the next victim
An opportunity for women (like me) to learn how to discern between faithful healing and idolatrous healing. An opportunity for women to become equipped with the healing practices found in the bible and exemplified in Messiah. A place of accountability and mentorship.
Bootcamp is more than just a course
During the last six weeks, I have been taking a beautiful discipleship course and this has been a wake up call for me.
My goal and mission is to reach as many victims of new age medicine and bring them back into the fold.
The course is packed with more than 10 different healing modalities that we will test to scripture. It is designed to help you learn how to test questionable healing methods on your own and to empower you through prayer, scripture and vetted resources.
Bootcamp live cohorts for subscribers
While I was making the course, I grappled with the idea of charging anything for this. I considered offering the entire course for free, but often times people don't value free things. More often than not, people think if something is free then it must be cheap and worthless. Personally I have enrolled in free courses only to never really complete them or engage.
So after much prayer and thought, I have decided to make the 1st part of the course and the workbook entirely free.
It is my prayer that paid subscriptions will allow me lead live cohorts of Module 3 four times per year. Through the support of paid subscribers I could lead the last part of the class live with small groups and offer group mentorship at the end of each class. It would also allow me to lead yearly accountability groups for students who need it.
What happens after I sign up for Bootcamp?
Please expect two-three emails from me shortly. If you don't see them in your inbox, kindly check your spam folder. The first email will require your confirmation - please click on the 'confirm' button when you see it. Without this confirmation, you won't be able to proceed further ⚠️
Once confirmed, you will receive the following:
- Your Free Workbook: If you haven't received it already, it will be on its way to you.
- Module 1: This will be your first step into the course content!
- Cohort dates & Times: Live cohort schedule and signup. These are exclusive to bootcamp members only.
- Module 2 Videos: This module contains 11 videos. It's a self-paced section of the course and is only accessible to bootcamp members.
- Module 3 Video & Live Cohort Reminders: At this stage, you will have the option to view the Module 3 video independently or sign up for the live cohort led by me. You're welcome to choose either or both options, based on what suits your learning style best. Please note that access to Module 3 cohorts and content is exclusive to bootcamp members with a subscription.
