Parable of the Pearl π

Pearls of Wisdom in the Torah
Did you know that the Jewish sages compared the wisdom of the torah to fine pearls? This little detail may help us understand the parable of the pearl a little better. A righteous person meditates and delights in God's torah (Psalm 1). A righteous person chooses to walk the narrow path of wisdom (Proverbs). This type of person is the one who searches for eternal life and is willing to give up anything for the reward of the kingdom!
May we and our children be like the merchant in the parable of the pearl ππΌπ
'Happy the person who finds wisdom, the person who acquires understanding;...she is more precious than pearls β nothing you want can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand, riches and honor in her left. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who grasp her; whoever holds fast to her will be made happy.' Proverbs 3:13, 15-18
