The way we manage our possessions in this age matters for the age to come
The Lord blesses us daily with food and sustenance. In America we are also blessed materially wether we know it or not. The Lord is faithful. He allows us to be managers of the wealth he bestows upon us. But with these blessing also comes great responsibility to steward it well.
The dishonest manager did not steward his master's wealth well but he acted shrewdly or wisely in the end. The Torah has many commandments about how to deal honestly and how to steward our property well.
If we learn to be good stewards today, we will be good stewards of the treasures in the age to come. If we are faithful in little, we will be faithful in much!
